Read the following Article on Progressive Enhancement. Send me an email explaining progressive enhancement in your own words. Please discuss why it is important to use progressive enhancement and include a link to another article you found and read relating to the topic. Due before class Thursday.

Site Planning

Assignment

Submit your Individual Web Project  by November 8, 2018.

Complete the site planning questionnaire for your final project. I understand this is a fictitious client, so play that role as you work the through the questions. Send me a completed version of this document to tswallace@ualr.edu and athirumalare@ualr.edu.

Web Forms

Assignment

Implement a contact form solution on your Dragon Project. If necessary create a contact page. Try to integrate the form with your site design as much as possible.

Individual Web Project

Choose one of the two micro-site projects and submit url to me by November 8, 2018.

Begin work on the Micro-site project of your choice. We will work on these projects in a lab environment next week. Please be prepared to ask questions.

Image Creation and Optimization

Assignment

Create a banner image to insert into the header of your prototype document. Using the technique covered in class, insert the image you created and optimized, into the your sample css document we have been working on in class. We’ll begin our first full site project on Thursday.

Email tswallace@ualr.edu and athirumalare@ualr.edu the image you extracted and placed  in another environment.

Web Based Image Editing

Complete the following tutorial and submit the icon you create in the tutorial.

Create an Icon in Gravit

You should email this icon to me before class next Thursday (10/25/18). I do not expect you to perfectly replicate the icon in the tutorial but I would like to see a solid effort from each of you. This is a challenging assignment so I encourage you to not wait until the night before it is due. Good Luck!

Positioning Lab Debrief

Complete today’s lab assignment and upload. Send me the url’s for each exercise no later than Tuesday before class.

I would also like you to submit a URL for the css work you have been doing in class the last few weeks.

Next we will shift focus towards image manipulation and optimization.
