Progressive Enhancement

If you haven’t done so already please send me your write up on Progressive Enhancement. We will have an in-class lab on Thursday building an interface using jQuery this will be submitted for credit, so it is imperative you attend this session.

Begin work on the Micro-site project of your choice. We will work on these projects in a lab environment next week. Please be prepared to ask questions.

Image Editing

ASSIGNMENT

Create a banner image to insert into the header of your css-demo document. Using the technique covered in class, insert the image you created and optimized, into the your sample css document we have been working on in class. We’ll begin our first full site project on Thursday.

Web-Based Image Manipulation and Optimization

Complete the following tutorial and submit the icon you create in the tutorial.

Create an Icon in Gravit

You should email this icon to me before class next Thursday (10/24/19). I do not expect you to perfectly replicate the icon in the tutorial but I would like to see a solid effort from each of you. This is a challenging assignment so I encourage you to not wait until the night before it is due. Good Luck!

Make sure your course homepage on Repl.it has been styled. Try embedding a font, adding a background image/color, and anything else you ‘d like to experiment. Please make sure the links to your assignments is easily visible and accessible.

Start working on the exercises at Flexbox Froggy. Next week I’ll ask you to submit a screenshot of the completion page for exercise 24.
