If you haven’t done so already please send me your write up on Progressive Enhancement. We will have an in-class lab on Wednesday building an interface using jQuery. This will be submitted for credit, so it is imperative you attend this session.

Image Creation and Optimization

ASSIGNMENT

Create a banner image to insert into the header of your css-demo document. Using the technique covered in class, insert the image you created and optimized, into your sample css document we have been working on in class. We’ll begin our first full site project on Wednesday.

Export a copy of the image you create in class today and provide a link to it from your Repl.it homepage. You’ll need to upload it to repl.it and link to the file. You should also provide a link to the Icon you create in the tutorial. Due Monday, March 30, 2020. Have a safe Spring Break!

Positioning Lab Debreif

Complete the following tutorial and submit the icon you create in the tutorial.

Create an Icon in Gravit

You should post the icon and link from your repl.it homepage before class Monday  (3/30/20). I do not expect you to perfectly replicate the icon in the tutorial but I would like to see a solid effort from each of you. This is a challenging assignment so I encourage you to not wait until the night before it is due. Good Luck!

Once we have completed working through the CSS development exercise, please add the url to Repl.it Homepage. The should not be identical to what we coded in class. Please include your own touches that demonstrate your understanding. Final Submission Due 3/11/20.

Make sure your course homepage on Repl.it has been styled. Try embedding a font, adding a background image/color, and anything else you ‘d like to experiment. Please make sure the links to your assignments is easily visible and accessible.

Start working on the exercises at Flexbox Froggy. Next week I’ll ask you to submit a screenshot of the completion page for exercise 24.
